THQ is using an interesting way to advertise Homefront. It is called Pyongyang Express and it serves North Korean BBQ. THQ’s Senior PR Manager Tyrone Miller says the truck “captures the essence of the storyline and pulls our audience into this as if it is really happening.” The truck goes by the slogan “Subsidized good Food for a Better America” and it’s the first part of the history timeline where Kim Jong-il dies, his son takes over North Korea and then North and South Korea unite. Later, unified Korea invades the U.S. Below are some pictures of the truck.

The truck will be on the streets until the game is released next year but Los Angeles-based food trucks can breathe easy. Pyongyang Express will move on to San Francisco and New York City soon.

Kaos Studios sent us an exclusive screenshot from Homefront of the Goliath remotely controlled vehicle. Now unlike Frontlines: Fuel of War, there previous game which had remotely controlled vehicles also, this one is actually the size of a large SUV or Tank!

Now that E3 is over. The awards are being handed out. And Homefront  takes home 4 awards. Below are the awards that Homefront walks away with.

Well with news finally pooring in for Homefront we have updated Homefront Verse with the current Gamers Verse theme. And what does that mean for me, you ask? Well it means you can come back to Homefront Verse for your Homefront needs! News, interviews, sceenshots, and videos.

And who knows maybe we can get some sort of contest running. Since we are of course the oldest and longest running Homefront Site!

Oh and a few more things, we just had our 1 year birthday for Homefront Verse, used to be Homefront HQ.

 Well it looks like we have some Homefront news! It's not much but at least it is something. ProjectCould made a Tweet about Homefront being shown at E3 2010.

THQ announced today that they will be showing off Homefront and a new high quality Red Faction game at E3 2010 during their earnings call!

 KAOS just sent an update on the New Community upgrade.

I am hoping that they are opening the Community site for Homefront. That Tweet was 24hrs ago. So we should expect to hear or see something today. I am hoping that it is the community site for Homefront. And that Information on the game will start to roll out.
 

Homefront is not even out yet, but THQ is already talking Homefront 2. It seems as if THQ is planning BIG things for the Homefront game.

During a presentation at the FBR Capital Markets 2009 Fall Investor Conference today, Bilson was asked how he plans to position Homefront against competition like the next Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games. In response, Bilson pointed to the game's narrative talent, as well as its multiplayer pedigree.

Bilson noted that Homefront developer Kaos was born from the ashes of Trauma Studios, maker of the popular Desert Combat mod for the World War II shooter Battlefield 1942. The group's first project for THQ, Frontlines: Fuel of War, was not a tremendous success in critical or commercial terms. However, Bilson chalked it up as "an incomplete experiment under pressure to ship" and reasserted his faith in Kaos to "build the best online battlefield."

"This is one of our big bets, I'll be honest," Bilson told investors. "People say, 'Why are you going into this Call of Duty space?' And it's because I know we can compete. I know we can compete."
